2024 Editor Reel

A24 | #1 Happy Family USA

DEC 2023- AUG 2024

What a great team this was to be apart of! Under showrunner Ramy Youssef, this first ever animated series produced and created by A24 will be quite the statement when it comes out! I am so thankful I was able to jump on this production. I was hired to fill in temporarily, but meshed so well with the team that they kept me on till the very end. When this show airs, I will post more here.

Here is a brief article for those that would like to know more!

NICKELODEON | Max & The Midknights

AUG 2022 - JUL 2023

Max & The Midknight airs on OCT 30, 2024.

I edited and assistant edited on this series at Nickelodeon Animation Studios. In this show, I helped pioneer a brand new TV pipeline using Unreal Engines. By creating and finessing a custom Python script, we were able to take CG footage from Unreal, cut in premiere, and import back into Unreal Engines. From there, the project was conformed and sent to the animation vendor studio. Creating a new pipeline is rifled with challenges, but I am proud to say we made it work and the result is a TV show that looks more like a feature film. I would love to talk more about this process with anyone who is curious.

In the meantime, here is a sneak peak of a few animatics from episodes I had the pleasure of editing. In these episodes, I edited storyboards, CG footage, voiced scratch, sourced music & SFX, and worked with the CG team and showrunners to perfect each shot.

Here is an example of some of the documentation I made during pipeline development. Max was an extremely technical show that had a substantial onboarding learning curve. I made a series of guides and documents to help new hires get up to speed with show requirements and would be delighted to talk about how we made this pipeline and show possible!
